Rockets

A fun little project we did from no time for flash cards. Will is really into space right now. He tells everyone he is going to be an astronaut. I thought this would be a perfect project for them and they loved it. The supplies: cardboard (from a cereal box. I'm sure construction paper would be fine too), cotton balls, tin foil, crayons or something to color with, construction paper, scissors, glue.

Isaac's projects sometimes look a little nicer than Will's only because I try and let Will cut his out and glue it by himself. Isaac gets to do most of his as well but he still needs a little practice with cutting and he doesn't like to get glue on his fingers so he will often ask me to help him. But, soon he will have cute messy little projects as well. I think those are the best--the ones where you know the kid did it all by themselves.
