Sabbath Sundaes
Tonight for FHE we talked about appropriate Sabbath activities. I found this great idea on Sugardoodle, that was used in Young Women's but I thought it would be perfect for the boys. We started by talking about Sundays and what things we should and shouldn't do on Sundays. Then we got out our ice cream and told the boys we were going to make Sundaes. We got out green olives, banana peppers, hot sauce, and mustard and topped our ice cream. The boys were really concerned that we were going to make them eat it. We asked, "You like mustard on your hot dog, why not on your ice cream?" We explained that just because an activity is good on a normal day doesn't make it a good Sabbath activity. Then we made real sundaes!a>
A very concerned Mr. Isaac
Delicious. Eli actually tried this and he didn't like it but he kept eating it!
Will was starting to cry when we put hot sauce and mustard on his ice cream.
Have you seen anything cuter than these three smiling boys?
