Family Home Evening: Red light, Green light

Tonight for Family Home Evening we talked about the rules in our house. We've been having a rough month in that area. First we told them the rules to Red light, Green light and played that a few times. Then we all sat down and we talked about rules and why we have them, what they are, and what happens if we break them. We then played the game without following the rules. When Mike and I didn't play by the rules Isaac fell apart and cried and cried. We explained that when we don't follow rules it makes people sad. We talked a little more about the rules we have in our home and what the consequences would be if they were broken. Then we played the game with the right rules one more time. The boys loved playing this game.
