We had a Family Home Evening on Testimonies two weeks ago and I am just getting to post it. First we pretended we were at court. Mike acted out stealing something and I was the judge. He came to "court" and we questioned the "witnesses" aka the boys. They told us what Mike did and then we pronounced the sentence on Mike.
We played this a few times with the boys doing other examples and then we talked about how when the boys were being witnesses they were giving a testimony. We explained that there are other things we testify about and explained what it meant to testify.
Then we just quickly bore our testimonies to the boys.
The boys enjoyed this activity and we hope to continue to think of ways to explain testimonies and share them with the boys.
