Samuel the Lamanite FHE

Tonight we had a fun FHE. We read the story of Samuel the Lamanite from Helaman 13 and Helaman 16 about Samuel crying repentance on the wall. We showed them this picture. Then we had them dress in their capes and we let them break the "no standing on the counter" rule. They stood up and said something like, "Stop being bad" and then we all threw marshmallows at them. It was pretty funny. The boys giggled and giggled and they would just throw them right back. We then talked about how God will protect us when we do what he asks us to do.

That is awesome. Usually we do that, but not under the "guise" of FHE... -Jess

What a fun idea. I'm sure those boys will always remember the story about Samuel the Lamanite.
You guys are so creative in everything you do with your kids. (I don't think I was born with a creative bone in my body - so I'm glad my kids show more than I ever did.)
