When I was growing up I had this crazy interest in Indians. Even today, I still love reading stories or looking at pictures of the different groups and their cultures. I really just love history. Anyway, I thought since it is almost Thanksgiving we could learn a little about Indians. Today we got on the
internet and looked at pictures of different Indians and what they wore, where they lived, and what they lived in. We also talked a little about what they ate and then we made this craft that we found from No Time for Flash Cards. The boys had a great time and made their corn cobs look like "a rainbow." Mike said they look like fish. Come back because we are also going to make
Totum Poles this month and other Thanksgiving crafts.
I keep trying to link to things today and for some reason can't. So, click on the link for No Time for Flash Cards on the blogroll and look up this craft. It was fun, and made with marshmallows so of course we had to eat some of them (before the marker was put on them of course).
